Primal Space is comprised of four movements presented as a single, continuous experience. The piece was workshopped and performed for the public over a period of a month, then recorded live in our studio. Once the concept was captured, we edited, deconstructed, and rebuilt it. Primal Space represents the initial crystallization of our vision of combining digital processing and analog/modular hardware with longform experimentation and improvisation.
